Extreme Makover

It was an exciting day waiting for the family to come home and yell "move that bus" with them. I love this show. This experience just made me fall in love with it even more.
To learn more about the family and see pictures go to: Extreme Coventry Homes

They go to St. Luke parish - where my aunt and uncle go. They also gave them marriage prep classes before they got married! :)

God has a sense of humor.

So tonight, Jon Paul and I were talking as he was making chocolate chip cookies (he has a difficult time getting over a craving :) )... and I started to sing the late 80's tune (I think) "if you, want to call me baby, just go ahead now. if you like to tell me maybe, just go ahead now. if you like to buy me flowers, just go ahead now. and if you like to talk for hours, just go ahead now..."

He asked me, "Who sings that song?" (this is a game we often play)

I think. I make a few random guesses. No idea.

"give me a clue"

He thinks. "turning surgeons"

SPIN DOCTORS! I say.

"RIGHT!" he says surprised... though he shouldn't have been because it was a good clue...

I say "we'd be awesome teammates at the game Taboo!" He laughs and turns around to get the sheet of cookies out of the oven. I go to get the game "Taboo" to practice.

I ask him a stack of questions as he takes the cookies off the sheet and puts new ones on ready to bake.

He sits down, asks me some questions.

He gets to the next one, starts to laugh. I say "what?"

He says, "turning surgeons". No joke.
